Booking Policy

Advance Reservations Required
All appointments must be booked through the official booking site. Booking in advance ensures availability and allows us to give each client the best experience possible. No DMs, texts, or calls will be accepted for appointments.

Automatic Confirmation
Once your appointment is successfully booked, you’ll receive an instant confirmation via email or text. Please check your inbox or spam folder for details. No further confirmation is needed.

Cancellation Policy

Notice Period for Cancellations
Clients must provide at least 24 hours' notice for cancellations to avoid a cancellation fee. This allows us to fill the appointment slot with another client.

Cancellation Fees
Last-minute cancellations or no-shows will result in loss of deposit and may require full payment to rebook.

Late Arrival Policy

Grace Period for Late Arrivals
A 10-minute grace period is allowed. After 10 minutes, a $15 late fee will be applied. If you are more than 15 minutes late, your appointment may be canceled or rescheduled, and your deposit will be forfeited.

Adjusted Service Time
If a client arrives late, their service may be shortened to accommodate the schedule of other clients. We will try our best to give the full service.

Product Allergy Disclaimer
Please notify me in advance if you have any allergies or sensitivities to products. I use professional-grade products, but client safety and comfort are top priority.

Photos & Social Media Use
By booking, you consent to your hair being photographed and possibly posted to social media for promotional use. If you prefer not to be featured, just let me know.

Communication Hours
I respond to booking-related messages during business hours only. Please allow 24 hours for a reply. All bookings must still go through the site.

Client Forms
For select services, a quick intake form may be required before your appointment. This helps me tailor your experience and ensure safety. All forms must be submitted at least 24 hours in advance or your appointment may be rescheduled.

Forms will be sent via text or available on the booking site once your appointment is confirmed. A new form may be required every 6 months or after major service changes.

No Show Policy

Definition of No Show
A "no show" is defined as failing to attend a scheduled appointment without prior notice. This policy is in place to respect the time of our staff and other clients.

No Show Fee / Pre-payment / Blocked
If customers fail to show up, we reserve the right to charge a no-show fee of 50% of the base service fee. Multiple instances of no-shows may result in the requirement of pre-payment or being blocked from booking future appointments.

Refund Policy

Non-Refundable Services
Refunds are not available after the service has been completed. Please communicate any concerns during the appointment.

Satisfaction Guarantee
We strive for client satisfaction. If a client is not satisfied with their service, they must notify us within 24 hours to discuss potential adjustments or solutions.

Shipping Policy

Order Processing

All orders are processed Monday–Friday (excluding holidays).

Please allow 3–5 business days for order processing before shipment.

Custom or pre-order wigs/bundles (including coloring, cutting, or styling) may require up to 7–14 business days, depending on the service selected.

Shipping

Domestic orders are shipped via USPS, UPS, or FedEx (based on the best available carrier).

Standard delivery time is 3–7 business days after processing.

Express shipping options are available at checkout (when applicable).

International shipping is available. Delivery times vary by destination. Customs fees/duties are the responsibility of the buyer.

Tracking

Once your order ships, you will receive a confirmation email with a tracking number.

Please allow up to 24–48 hours for tracking to update.

Address Accuracy

Ensure your shipping address is correct at checkout. Crowned by J. Marie is not responsible for lost or delayed packages due to incorrect address entry.

If an address change is needed, email customer support within 24 hours of ordering.

Lost, Delayed, or Stolen Packages

Once an order is marked “Delivered” by the carrier, Crowned by J. Marie is no longer responsible for the package.

For lost, delayed, or stolen orders, customers must file a claim directly with the shipping carrier.

We will assist if possible but no refunds or replacements will be issued for carrier-related issues.

Shipping Insurance (Recommended)

To protect your investment, shipping insurance is available at checkout.

If declined, buyer accepts responsibility for any loss or damage in transit.

Refunds & Returns

Due to the nature of hair and beauty products, all sales are final.

We do not accept returns or exchanges for sanitary and quality control reasons.

If there is an issue with your order upon arrival, contact us within 48 hours with photos and your order number.

Order Cancellations

Orders may only be canceled within 24 hours of purchase if processing has not begun.

Once processing or customization starts, the order cannot be canceled.

International Customers

Shipping times vary; please allow 7–21 business days after processing.

Customs delays may occur. Buyer is responsible for any additional taxes or import fees.
